North Dakota State University Seed Cleaning Facility

This project consisted of the construction of a new, state of the art, Williston Research Extension Center seed cleaning facility. This project consisted of the construction of a 6,000 square foot facility that since construction, has more than tripled the amount of bushels that can be cleaned hourly. Previously, the facility was limited to cleaning 35 bushels an hour (Kyle Dragseth). Now the facility can clean 200 bushels an hour, maximizing the facilities ability to reach routine 40,000 bushels of seed a year (Kyle Dragseth). The construction also included a 1,500 square foot interior office/laboratory buildout with a breakroom and bathrooms. Included in this project was also excavation, site, and civil improvements.
